Barn Owl Bliss
I'm sure most of you know who Molly the barn own is. But if you don't, she's quite magnificent. Molly and her family reside in San Marcos and are on live streaming video 24/7 where you can learn all about their lifestyle.
Molly fans from all over the country are coming together this Sunday, 10-17-2010 for a Molly Watchers Picnic.
For just $1 people can gather at Walnut Grove Park in San Marcos and bring their own food and drink into the park! There will be a silent auction as well as a raffle, and all the money made will go to the San Marcos Community Foundation for Wildlife Conservation and Promotion.
We've decided to donate a necklace and a special pair of owl earrings, using the owl's birthstone color for August, the peridot.
It's all for a good cause, so if you're free this Sunday, go check it out between 2p and 5p.
